Pirates Pleasure in Dauphin Island

This place has Fantastic views, right on the beach. There's also a family friendly pool right outside. Service was fast and friendly. The food was good. Sunday brunch had a good menu and the bloody mary was great. It's a nice place for the family or a romantic date. They gave outside seating over looking the entire area.

Awesome place. Check it out from youself. I don't want to ruin surprise.

Just ate here, picked up to go. Half the order was wrong, no dressing for salads. Ever had a dry salad? Not pleasant. Live and learn. We won't make this mistake again.

Beautiful location right on the Gulf. This could really be renovated into an upscale fine dining establishment, but it is nice that it's casual and affordable. The food was not amazing, but it was good. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed it and the view and then walking along the beach at sunset!

Great lunch spot! Had the Pirate Burger with grilled pineapple, onions, and bacon. Would recommend sitting outside to appreciate the view this location has to offer.

If you are looking for takeout, keep driving. Drove by building looking for takeout. Big sign on building says for takeout call their number. Called to order and was informed no take out until further notice. I'm guessing its a staffing issue.

Food is amazing and you get large portions. The view is really nice and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

We dined here for lunch, it was not crowded and we were immediately seated and waited on. We did not have a long wait for out food about 15 minutes I would say. The food was really good! The hushpuppys were really dense but had a good flavor. The onion rings are made to perfection as well as the burgers and chicken tenders. The soft drinks were not very good to much carbonation or something, the sweet tasted like instant tea. The view is amazing from the second balcony but the tables had no shade, they really should put umbrellas out. The service was great, our waitress was super nice. The bathroom on the second floor could use a remodel it looks like a bathroom at bar not a restaurant. The food is reasonably priced especially compared to some of the other places in the island. Overall at visit was pretty great! We will definitely be eating there again!!

Fish tacos were amazing. Our server was very punctual and the young man out in the parking lot was nice as well. Can't beat the views while eating lunch

The food here is amazing and the amount you get is great for how much you pay. The wait was long but I would wait as long as it takes to eat food like this. If you want good food this is the place you want to go to. Don't listen to the one stars they just believe everything revolves around them and want everything now because they are spoiled and need to learn patience. Afterall good will come to those who wait.

Amazing food, love the bar staff. Bucky and Bee will make you a fine cocktail! They let me bring my service dog with no problem and we nothing but amazing to us! My son had a blast in there pool! And it was warm for him!

I did not go into the bar and grill. But I did have a pizza from the pizza shop and it was delicious. They come in two sizes medium and large the medium is about 10 in and it was enough to satisfy me. I like if they're cheese blend for the pizzas. But I wish they were more generous with the cheese. The restaurant or pizza shop will only allow service dogs inside. Between the pizza shop and the bar if there are a couple of picnic tables where you can have your meal with your pup. The restaurants are not exactly where Google Maps says they are. But I think you figure it out when you see the sign for the restaurant in Google Maps says it's still a quarter of a mile away into the bushes. The restaurants are in a golf course. I wish it was in better shape physically. I imagine they don't see as much traffic as they did in the past. But if you're in the island and looking for something good to eat it is definitely worth considering.

Will definitely stop by again next time in town. Food was tasty and view amazing.

We loved visiting this restaurant! We loved the architecture of the building. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated the service was great our waitress was great as well. The food was tasty. The hush puppies weren’t for me but the fries and fish were delicious!

Great little place. Love that they had a pool to cool off in and food was great!

Waited for over 40 minutes to sit. Then walked in and there was only one table with people in the restaurant. Not sure about upstairs, but downstairs should’ve had more tables with people even with social distancing. Waited another 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Waiter only checked on us once between then and I had to ask for my salad. Lots of staff walking around and talking. Seemed to be just kids working. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Worst experience ever. My husband paid $28 for a steak that was over cooked and cold. I want crab claws but they were out of them. I got fried shrimp that were little had rocks. The baked potatoes were to dry to eat because they bring you a half tsp of butter and sour cream. On top of all that there was only a hand full of people there and the cold food took an hour to come out. I hate to be this way but it’s all true. We will never go back.

Great food and friendly staff. Employees were wearing masks and encouraging guests to social distance, which I appreciated. Food was delicious and menu options were decent, but was really hoping there were crab legs on the menu. We did have to wait almost 1.5 hours for our food, which wasn't great. But the food was good and worth the waiting.

We’ve been here several times in the past and we have enjoyed eating here every time. Staff is very friendly and courteous and food is pretty good. And the view from the upstairs dining room is excellent not to mention the ‘60’s architecture is priceless. You can do take outs and take the food right on to the beach which is pretty convenient. I highly recommend this place.

Went with my family of 6. Food was pretty good. Just had to fight off swarms of flies the ENTIRE time from before the meal through trying to pay the bill. And spent $300 through the complete disgust. UGH!

Went for a family lunch/dinner and had to wait an hour for a table. While we waiting my boyfriend and I got a drink at the bar and they were really good. Would not mind the wait if the food was good. There were hundreds of flies, we kept having to shoo them away from food and our table. The hostess was going around killing them with fly swatter but that didn’t even put a dent in the amount buzzing around. Ordered our food and drinks, drinks took ten minutes with no ice. Food finally came and it was terrible. Half our order was wrong. The burger buns were complete mush on the bottom. After the fifth time asking for veggies for my burger they came out and the onions had black mold. The soft shell crab was really gross and the waitress hovered over my daughter asking her to eat till she took a bite. Would not recommended this place.
